Meal Information
Place your order conveniently on our website at www.eatfyb.ca. Follow the step-by-step instructions to view our live menu and complete your order. If you encounter any issues with the website, feel free to contact us via phone or email to place your order directly.
Our minimum order quantity is 3 items.
Macronutrient details are listed on the label of each meal and can also be found on our website at www.eatfyb.ca. Simply click on the menu item to access this information.
We deliver our meals in compostable, biodegradable containers. The lids, made from Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) material, are also recyclable. Both the containers and lids are microwave-safe and freezer-friendly.
Feel free to keep the meals in the fridge for up to 6 days or consume them before the expiry date. The refrigerator should be set between 0 to 4 degrees Celsius. If you are unable to consume all the meals before the expiry date, feel free to freeze the remaining meals for up to 30 days. We use a meal container with a specialized vent to extend the shelf life.
Yes, we use sodium, but we keep it to a minimum. We only use sea salt. For approximate reference, our main entrees contain 150mg to 300mg of sodium.
Of course! You can mix and match meals from our menu to create your own personalized/customized plan that best suits your goals and lifestyle.
The fiber content varies from 4 to 8 grams depending on the meal.
You have two heating options for your meals. The first is to pan-heat them by transferring the contents to a pan on a stove top. The second is to microwave the meals for 1.5 – 2 minutes in the provided container. Microwave times may vary depending on your microwave's power. Our containers are microwave-safe. Before microwaving, remember to remove any sauce containers.
Heating instructions are included on the meal label of every meal. Please note: Do not place the food trays in the oven!
All our chicken and beef are hand-slaughtered and HMA certified as Halal.

Modifying Schedule & Cut-Off Times
Our order cut off times are the following:
Order cut off time for Monday is BEFORE Thursday at 12 noon. If your order was placed after our order cut off times, your meals would be delivered to you the following week. You can refer to this date in your email notfication for your purchase.
Modifications to your order are permitted, but they must be made prior to the order cut-off time. Requests for changes after the cut-off time cannot be accommodated.
We source only fresh ingredients, which is why we adhere to the strict deadlines set by our suppliers.

We deliver on Prince Edward Island, serving Charlottetown, Stratford, Cornwall, Montague, Kensington, Summerside, Miscouche and Alberton.
We have pick-up fridges at various locations with the following schedule. Orders not picked up by Friday are donated to local charities. Pickup day is Tuesday if Monday is a holiday.

If you won't be home for delivery and live in an apartment building, please provide delivery instructions for our drivers. If our driver cannot enter the building, the cooler bag will be left in the lobby. For workplace delivery orders that cannot be delivered, they will be placed in the fridge at the nearest pick-up fridge location, and you will receive an email notification from us.
If you live in a house and won't be home for delivery, the package will be left outside your door. If you are concerned about your package being stolen or missing, please ensure you are home to accept your package or coordinate with us in advance to share your concerns or specific delivery instructions.
We deliver all orders in our own delivery vans. Please ensure you provide us with your correct email address and phone number so you receive notifications of your delivery.
Please note: Fuel Your Body will not replace or provide any refunds for packages left unattended by you on delivery day. Since we deliver perishable items, your attention is required to attend to the package promptly.
Home Delivery: Your meals will be delivered in a double-lined FYB cooler bag with frozen water bottles. For weekly subscribers, please place your empty cooler bag and bottles outside on the following Monday. The bottles do not need to be frozen. We will exchange your empty bag and bottles with your new order. Weekly customers who accumulate bags will be contacted and may incur a fee of $9.99 per bag if the bags are not returned.
Pick-up Fridge Locations: Your meals will be available for pick-up at your selected location, and your name will be on the bag in the fridge. Please use the self-serve fridges and double-check your name before leaving to ensure you have the correct order. Please note that cooler bags and ice packs are not provided at pick-up locations.
Please note that Fuel Your Body will not be held responsible for delivering your meals to another address or pick-up location if you provided the wrong delivery address or selected the wrong pick-up fridge location when placing your order. It will be your responsibility to pick up your order from the location they were delivered to. Therefore, we ask that you carefully review your order when checking out.
Upon receiving your meals, please refrigerate them immediately. Ensure they are stored at a temperature between 0°C and 4°C.
The meals have a shelf life of up to 6 days in the refrigerator or until the expiry date listed on the label. Any remaining meals can be stored in the freezer to extend their shelf life.
Please note that when picking up meals from a pick-up fridge location, you need to refrigerate them immediately. It is recommended that you transport your meals in a cooler bag with ice packs to maintain a temperature between 0-4 degrees Celsius.
We deliver every Monday between 7.00am to 3.00 pm to areas within Charlottetown, Cornwall, Stratford, Summerside, Kensington and Montague.
If you are not home to receive your delivery, the package will be left at your door or with the concierge. Please ensure that you provide us with your detailed shipping address, phone number, email address, buzzer code (if any), and any delivery instructions when placing your order. If your workplace is closed, your order will be delivered to the nearest pick-up location, and you will receive an email notification.

Yes, you can track your delivery in real-time if you selected home delivery. You will receive an email with a tracking link when our drivers are out for delivery on Monday. You will also receive a confirmation email when your package has been delivered.
Please note that the drivers will not call upon arrival unless they need access or further instructions.
We recommend contacting us via email on the delivery day for any issues regarding incorrect or missing meals. Please provide as much information as possible about your delivered package, including photos if applicable, sent to info@eatfyb.ca, to allow us to assist you promptly.
Please note that if incorrect meals were consumed before communication, we may not be able to resolve the issue. Additionally, if you forgot to select meals under your account page and received meals you do not like, it is your responsibility to select meals that suit your preferences under your account page if you have a weekly plan, and we do not provide refunds or other meals in this situation.
Make sure to check your email confirmation to ensure you are scheduled for a delivery and that your order is not for the following week. Typically, we complete all deliveries by 4 pm. If your food hasn't arrived yet and it's already dinner time, please check your email for any delivery updates or refer to our social media @eatfyb for any weather interruptions. If you haven't received any communication, please reach out to us at info@eatfyb.ca for further assistance.
In case of a winter storm, we will provide updates about delivery and pick-up on our social media @eatfyb. We will send our drivers out for delivery when it is safe to do so. Please contact the pick-up location directly to check for any winter closures or refer to their social media pages.
We always offer home delivery on Mondays. All pick-up locations are switched to Tuesdays when there is a Monday holiday unless the location is open. We are closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, but will inform customers of our delivery schedule around the Christmas break.
Weekly Plans
This is perfect if you do not wish to visit our website and place orders weekly. On a weekly plan, automatic payments will be processed weekly on Thursday after your first delivery date. Before your weekly plan renews, you may pause, skip weeks, resume or cancel the weekly plan by logging into your account. PLEASE NOTE: Since it is a weekly plan, it’s your duty to log in and adjust your plan. Fuel Your Body will not take responsibility if you forget to cancel before the weekly plan renewal date. Our system sends a automated email two days prior to the billing date as a reminder.
A one-time order is a single purchase for a week's worth of meals, requiring a one-time payment. In contrast, a weekly plan is an ongoing order set for automatic weekly payments. The weekly plan continues until the customer skips weeks, pauses, or cancels it.
If you are on a weekly plan, you need to log in to your account and submit your meal choices before Thursday at noon for the upcoming week, starting from the second week of your meal plan.
If you do not make any meal selections for the week, we will make the selections on your behalf. The meals will vary according to the current live menu.
Please note that we strictly cannot accept meal selections after Thursday at noon. We recommend checking your email for meal selections on a weekly basis if you would like to choose your own meals.
Please note that Fuel Your Body will not refund for any meals that you did not like due to missing the order cut-off time for meal selections. We also do not refund for meals that were not to your personal liking. We prepare meals in batches with our standard tested recipes that are neutral to most clients. Hence, we provide a wide variety of meal choices. We always have something for everyone on our current live menus that you would enjoy!
Once an order is processed and paid for before the weekly cut off time, we are unable to offer refunds or take back the meals. Managing your weekly plan according to your needs is essential to avoid receiving unwanted meals.
Sensitivities
We do not offer customized meals. Our website's live menu displays the meals available for the upcoming week, and the vegetables in the meals may vary from the pictures. Our menu rotates four times per month, offering a new selections each week.
Please note that we are unable to accommodate and customize dishes for allergens.
We use a lot of simple ingredients and have the allergens listed below the meal description. The allergens are also all listed on our container lids for those that purchase our meals from our retail locations. Nearly all our meals are naturally Gluten free but we cannot guarantee traces. Please contact us regarding your allergies prior to placing your order.
Please view the meal tags on the menu items to learn more about the allergens. However, if there are any other specific ones, you are concerned about, please send us an email at info@eatfyb.ca prior to placing your order.
Please mention in the notes section of your order if you are allergic to any ingredient(s) even if you have already selected the meals excluding the allergens.
Note, if an allergen was not listed by you while placing your order (in the notes section) OR not communicated with us via email. We would not be responsible for the potential circumstances in such situation. It is as much of your responsibility as ours to be mindful of any allergens.
If you have any specific dietary restriction, please consult your doctor before purchasing our meals.
Refunds
For any refunds, there will be a service charge of 3% on the total refund amount. If the order cut off time is exceeded, and your order was processed by our team, we would not be able to refund you for that order, since we cannot cancel or refund an order after the order cut off time has passed as all the supplies have been purchased.
